This book matters because, we see many of the events that are depicted in this book happening today. In this book there were leaks about wars that were currently being fought. This happened today with the Snowden leaks.
This book ends with the acquittal of all charges for Daniel.
So What? So, we must pay attention to this book because we learn about our history. We learn how our politicians can be corrupt. We can also learn to be more proactive in our government.
Blood has a surface tension of 52 dynes/cm. Let's say that they(the Human) were travelling at terminal velocity (52m/s).
The average foot surface area is 100cm2. This means that each centimeter of the foot is recieving 0.00052 newtons of force.
One newton is 1/4 lbs of force meaning.
Only 20.8 lbs of force would be applied to each foot.
So a jump from a height where the average human with an average foot size,
that lands feet first,
into a pool of blood,
after reaching terminal velocity is not lethal.
Cultural Connections between "Most Dangerous" and Real Life
In "Most Dangerous" the main character, Daniel Ellsberg, leaked important documents. This is like today because there were documents leaked about the war in Afghanistan. The included much of the same things that are in the Vietnam, or pentagon papers. These included tactics, evidence, and recordings or transcriptions of conversations. These both relate to our current society because whistleblowers have put a lot of pressure on our society.
Connections between "Most Dangerous" and Real Life
The book Most Dangerous by Steve Sheinkin is a nonfiction book about Daniel Ellsberg. He leaked classified documents about the vietnam war. When the book takes place we start days away from the start of the vietnam war. Since the book is nonfiction all events that are real. The people in the US did not like the Vietnam war.
The paper for the service project has been added in the "Service Project" tab.
A personality is how a person acts when no person is around. Every person has a face that they put on for the crowd, but when they take it off that is their personality.
I would describe myself as an introverted extrovert. This means that when you first meet me I am quiet, but when you get to know me I tend to be louder. This usually stands up to what people say about me.
Homelessness in Wake County
Homelessness in Wake County is an issue because people without homes are at risk for, disease, exposure, and much more. Almost 1,100 people are homeless in Wake County. Everyone should care because many people who are homeless are people who are just like us. I am interested in this because I have worked with helping homeless people in the past. I helped in Moore Square to feed homeless people. Others in the community are effected by this because this issue can force people to do bad things to get food and water.
We could fix this problem by providing free housing to people without homes. We could also make it so that it is socially acceptable to take in homeless people for a night.
